Recipe Yields 2 Salads
Salad Ingredients
Salmon filets
Romaine lettuce, chopped
Guacamole
Bacon, chopped
Garlic Dressing Ingredients
½ c mayo
2 tbsp sour cream
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp parsley
1 tbsp minced garlic
½ tsp onion powder
Instructions
Apply Stanleys Pitmaster Spike liberally to salmon
We sous vide our salmon and finish with a sear on the stove, but it would be just as good grilled.
Make garlic dressing: in a bowl whisk together all ingredients. Place in fridge to chill until ready to serve.
Build your salad: We place the salmon on a bed of romaine, sprinkle with chopped bacon, dollop with guac, and drizzle with dressing. Emily likes to add pickled red onions to hers!
